After your one week in Paris, it’s time to explore Europe and use those new travel skills and academic chops.

Your Vision Quest is a two-week journey that you’ll begin planning the first week of the program when you meet with the Director of The Abbey and other professors to discuss your goals for the semester and your travels.

Are you obsessed with great art? Many students have done an art pilgrimage to Italy, crossing the Alps and comparing what they find in Italy’s great museums to what they’ve already studied in France.

Maybe your interest runs to the green fields of Ireland and your family’s Celtic ancestry?  Or you may have always felt a pull toward Eastern Europe and its storied, difficult past?  Or perhaps Spanish was your language in high school and now you hear Barcelona calling?

Whatever your background and interests, The Abbey staff will help you develop a plan to make your two-week Vision Quest among the most intense and fun times of your life.
