Moveable learning. Paris and Vision Quest.

Fasten your seatbelt. Within a week of arriving at The Abbey, you’ll be traveling again on a train bound for the magical city of Tours. Your classes will take a backseat as you quickly learn some things that are more pressing: how to use the French railway system, and how to safely and efficiently navigate a bustling foreign city.

Over the course of the next month, you’ll have opportunities to take other trips with the program or travel on your own with your new friends. Will you ski the Alps at Chamonix? Or hit Mardi Gras in Nice or Venice, where the celebration was old before it ever began in New Orleans?

Whatever your itinerary during the first five weeks, your sixth will be spent in Paris with all the other students on The Abbey program.

The Abbey ParisWEEK is unlike any learning you’ve ever done. Every day you’ll join two professors and 7 other students for a “walk-talk,” where Paris’ museums and streets will be your classrooms. After a week of living and learning in the city’s great neighborhoods, you will be a Paris expert in your own right.

Then it’s time for your Abbey Vision Quest. You’ll have two weeks to explore Europe with your own agenda. What have you always dreamed of seeing? Which cities or mountains or beaches call loudest to you? Go, see, do and learn.
